Nipissing Culture Days is now accepting submissions for musical artists and bands, for the 2022 Closing Ceremony. 

This is an open call for musicians to be a part of our virtual online closing ceremonies. Performers must be from the Nipissing District.

We are accepting submissions ending Sept. 30, 2022.

The pre-recorded event will be online Saturday, October TBA

People of all ages are welcome to apply. If you are in High School, please indicate that in the Artist Bio section of the form.  

Deadline for submission is Sept. 30, 2022

Submission information

• Bands and solo artists must be from within the district of Nipissing, Ontario, Canada.
• The selected proposals will be contacted by email.
• The selected proposals will be requested to provide a high-quality video of 1 (one) song.
• The video must be a live recent performance recorded for Nipissing Culture Days
• As part of your submission, please include a short text explaining why participating in Nipissing Culture Days is important to you.
• All selected artists will be paid an honorarium for their videos. Amount TBD (based on funding and budget).
• Our curators will select the proposals based on originality, creativity, experience an music ability.
• The festival will have a category for young, emerging musicians and experienced musicians.
